We delivered a contemporary split-level home that works in harmony with its steep, vegetated site, using smart construction techniques to preserve the landscape while creating an elevated and grounded architectural outcome.

Split-Level Residence

    • Client Challenge: The client engaged us to deliver a bespoke four-bedroom home on a steep, heavily vegetated block. Our challenge was to construct a contemporary split-level home that worked with the natural contours of the land while preserving as much of the existing vegetation as possible.

    • Our Solution: Our team devised a sensitive construction strategy, including carefully placed three-story scaffolding designed to navigate the dense vegetation without damaging the natural surroundings. The split-level design maximised the use of the site’s slope, creating a tastefully designed home with an elevated feeling and a solid, grounded structure.

    • Result: The result is a striking, four-bedroom contemporary home that exceeded the client’s expectations—both in design and execution. It stands as a testament to what’s possible when technical construction expertise meets respect for the natural environment.
