Client Challenge: Ballarat Group Practice sought to establish a flagship location for up to 30 GPs on a highly prominent site near Ballarat’s historic Arch of Victory. The location, and the necessity for the design to integrate with the former Ballarat Golf Club House, made the project both high-profile and sensitive from a planning point of view.

Our Solution: Working on behalf of Integra Group and engaging directly with the sub-tenants, Macneil Group delivered a multi-level, contemporary medical facility with integrated fit-outs for GPs, a pharmacy/chemist, pathology provider, and a physiotherapist from Ballarat Allied Health. The building includes a large central lift for patient access and meets high design and compliance standards throughout. As with similar projects, we helped sub-tenants understand fit-out costs early, supporting commercial lease negotiations with accurate, fast advice.

Result: Now a thriving medical hub, the practice combines architectural presence with practical performance—all on a site that demanded careful navigation of planning and design challenges. The building reflects the evolution of Ballarat’s healthcare landscape and the trust our clients place in us.
