CatholicCare Housing

    • Client Challenge: As part of the Victorian Government’s Big Housing Build, CatholicCare Victoria Housing—a not-for-profit housing provider—was awarded funding through Homes Victoria to deliver new social and affordable housing in Ballarat. The challenge was to find a delivery partner capable of meeting the stringent standards of a government-backed program while delivering maximum value for money. The project called for high-quality, cost-effective homes that would make a real difference in people’s lives.

    • Our Solution: As a trusted delivery partner, we worked closely with CatholicCare and the State Government to deliver a tailored solution that balanced cost-efficiency with durability and thoughtful design. From the outset, we aligned with the overall project goals to create safe, secure, and welcoming homes for those in need. Our industry experience meant we were able to navigate the program’s challenges while maintaining momentum on-site. We managed the design and construction with care, ensuring all dwellings met compliance, liveability, and long-term maintenance expectations.

    • Result: The completed development at Tait Street includes 24 new one- and two-bedroom dwellings, now home to residents who are experiencing the transformative impact of stable, affordable housing. Delivered on time and to a high standard, we are proud to have played our part, alongside the project partners, to achieve this important step forward for affordable housing. We now continue with the next tranche of 45 dwellings for Stage 2.
